The very practices that bring us the goods and services we desire are destroying the earth. Given current corporate practices, not one wildlife reserve, wilderness, or indigenous culture will survive the global market economy. We are losing our forests, fisheries, coral reefs, topsoil, water, biodiversity, and climatic stability. The land, sea, and air have been functionally transformed from life-supporting systems into repositories for waste.

London Times Reports Shop Owners Killed In Baghdad Market Where McCain and Graham Visited. 

Will an obscure paragraph dispatched to the London Times by reporter James Hider in Baghdad prove a knockout punch to John McCain's presidential bid? If true it is a indictment against further similar photo ops with our troops in Iraq. If false then it would lend credibility to McCain's charge the mainstream press is not accurately reporting the news from Baghdad.
